Generally speaking, we only accept newly-released and full albums for review. This is because… well, we’re old-school, and a full release gives us a decent enough amount of material to try and appreciate your theme, the context of your music, and more about you as an artist.
We make no guarantees that submissions will eventuate in a review. This boils down to factors such as time constraints, the volume of releases on the waiting list, the relevance of your music to this site’s mission, your prior engagement with us, and the proximity of caffeinated beverages.
Our reviews are personal and publicised opinions, from the perspective of a fellow independent artist who has been recording for over twenty years, founded communities, and helped release a wide range of music. Our mission is to be honest and transparent in this process. Please remember that we are going to “tell it” like we “hear it”, taking into consideration any information you supply.
